During the event "Restaurant Week" between 2 - 19 October, this restaurant is going to offer its 3-course menus from 8.900 HUF.
Due to the Indian habits and cuisine restaurant Hitchki awaits its guests with not a 3, but with a 8-course special tasting menu.
The following 8-course menus are of FIXED nature and cannot be altered in any way:
Menu ’A’ (North-Indian vegetarian):
- Basmati Rice - Steamed basmati rice
- Butter Naan - Butter smeared leavened flatbread
- Papad Ke Patakhe - Crisp and salty urid lentil wafel with cumin roasted in tandoori oven
- Kachumber Salad - Diced salad of tomatoes, cucumber and onions topped with our home-made salad dressing
- Desi Dal Tadka - Traditional cooked yellow lentils with tempered Indian spices
- Makhmali Kofta - Small vegetable dumplings with traditionally seasoned tomato sauce
- Paneer Tikka - Seasoned yogurt and garlic-ginger marinated home-made paneer cheese, grilled in tandoor oven + mint sauce
- Gulab Jamuns - Fried balls made from milk powder served in a special sweet syrup
Menu ’B’ (North-Indian with chicken):
- Basmati Rice - Steamed basmati rice

- Kachumber Salad - Diced salad of tomatoes, cucumber and onions topped with our home-made salad dressing

- Chicken Tikka - Chicken breast fillet marinated in a special spice mix, baked in a tandoori oven + mint sauce
- Madras Murgh Masala - Popular hot-citrus flavored chicken curry, made fresh herbs and coconut
- Gulab Jamuns - Fried milk balls served in rose water and sweet syrup
Optional courses:
- Saagwala Paneer - Traditionally seasoned spinach curry with home-made paneer cheese (+1.590 Huf)
- Paneer Tikka Masal - Grilled home-made paneer cheese in spicy tomato sauce (+1.590 Huf)
- Royal Lamb Curry - Lamb cooked with onions, tomatoes and pepper sauce (+2.490 Huf)
- Handi Lamb - Lamb cooked with saffron, tomato gravy and Indian spices (+2.490 Huf)
Menu ’C’ (South-Indian with chicken):
- Coconut Milk Chicken Curry - Tender chicken simmered in a creamy, aromatic coconut milk gravy, infused with spices and herbs
- Chettinad Masala Rice - Flavorful, spiced rice dish cooked with a blend of aromatic Chettinad masala, curry leaves
- Soft Cloud Idly 2 pcs - Fluffy idlis that melt in your mouth, served with sambar and coconut chutney
- Sambar - A spicy South Indian vegetable soup seasoned with the characteristic sambar masala, made with dhal lentils, tamarind, and various vegetables
- Mini samosa 2 pcs - Shell-shaped chickpea flour pasta with potato and pea filling
- Coconut Chutney - Creamy, refreshing chutney made with fresh grated coconut, green chilies, and tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves
- Curd Rice - Creamy, cooling rice mixed with smooth yogurt, tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves
- Egg Curry Chettinad Style - Hard-boiled eggs simmered in a rich, spicy Chettinad masala, infused with aromatic spices and herbs
